8 Sentence Sunday #41

For my last 8 Sentence Sunday post for the year, I’m giving you another look at Elizabeth and Colin from Something to Prove. This picks up just after where we left off last week. They’re about to share their first kiss.

The heat from his body brushed her thighs, and she wanted to pull him into her.

“Maybe we should at least exchange names.”

Elizabeth quickly put a finger on his lips to stop him. “No names.”

Names would complicate their time together. No names meant no future, no way to track each other, just pleasurable anonymity.

His tongue darted out and wet her finger. He lowered his head, and her heart beat so loud she was sure he’d hear it.
