Continuing with Something to Prove  — This picks up a little further than last week. Colin sees that Ryan is exhausted and offers to do the inventory for the bar so Ryan can relax and go back home. Ryan hedges and then says he’ll take care of it himself.

                        Colin slammed a chair down harder than he’d intended. “When are you going to stop treating me like a fuckup? I’ve been here for a year, every day, doing exactly what you’ve asked. When are you going to stop punishing me for leaving?”

                        Ryan crossed his arms and stared at his feet. “You’re right.”

                        At first Colin thought he’d imagined it. “What was that?”

    Sounds like maybe Colin slammed the chair down just as hard as he intended…he is understandably upset. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens between these two!
