Caffeine Tolerance – Writers Under Deadline

I’m not a coffee drinker, but I really wish I was. If you notice on Dante’s peak (no pun or reference to the movie) you will find where I am in life. I do think he should’ve added in another –Enough for the demands of a writer under deadline–and inch that right above the children. I’m going to be scarce the next couple of weeks because that is my life. Kids and deadlines.

Where are you in your caffeine intake? (and don’t mention if you happen to get by without – it will just make me jealous)

   I hit the peak when I worked as an R.N. Then on the advice of my doctor cut back to about four cups a day. Finally, two years ago I got it down to two mugs of coffee in the morning BUT when I’m on deadline, or doing edits, yeah, another cup creeps in there around 3pm. : )
